KeyLift XL is the proven 20 mm workhorse of the KeyLift platform, engineered for the broader anatomy of the thoracic and lumbar levels (T1 through L5) — where lamina and interlaminar space accommodate a larger device, and where spine specialists need a reproducible posterior option that does not require pedicle screws. How KeyLift XL Works

The KeyLift XL implant is delivered posteriorly between the lamina and spinous processes of the thoraco-lumbar region. After insertion, the expanding distal end is deployed, increasing the height between the vertebral bodies by 4 mm in situ. The superior and inferior wings are then crimped to the spinous process, and the paired KeyLift XL Clamp is attached to the implant for final fixation.

Indications for Use

The KeyLift Expandable Interlaminar Stabilization System is a posterior non-pedicle supplemental fixation device intended for use at a single level in the non-cervical spine (T1–S1). It is intended for plate fixation and attachment to the spinous processes and lamina for the purpose of achieving supplemental fusion in the following conditions: lumbar spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease (defined as back pain of discogenic origin with degeneration of the disc confirmed by history and radiographic studies), spondylolisthesis, trauma (i.e., fracture or dislocation), and/or tumor. The KeyLift Expandable Interlaminar Stabilization System is intended for use with allograft or autograft bone and is not intended for stand-alone use.
